In several of our project villages in Western Odisha there is a very high incidence of the fatal Chronic Kidney Disease. No one is sure what causes this, but it occurs in several hotspots elsewhere in the world, and in a few places in India too. At the moment we cannot cure this killer disease, but we can help to prevent it, and we can make sure that the people who contract it get the help and support that they need for themselves and their families.
